Goldsmith Wholesale Diamond Company is an exciting story that began in 1993 when the Goldsmith family started providing promotional jewelry at great low prices. The family was in the pawn business for 30 years and the previous owner wholesaled new jewelry to surrounding states.
In 1993, a national chain bought the pawn shop, but not the wholesale business. The wholesale customers requested that the previous owner continue to offer new jewelry and he created a place for his wife to work. Later that year, he set up 1–800–77–KAREN and launched a full scale catalog that was sent to the Mom and Pop jewelry stores and pawn shops around the country.
In 2002, the company was acquired by the then ex–wife so she could relaunch her new enhanced company, retaining the same expert staff: Paula, Doris and Theresa, specializing in extraordinary values on promotional goods.
